Both of us are still alive and kicking, with Doug keeping a close watch on the stock market when he's not playing golf, and Jan happily devoting her days to managing her Quartier français site plus a Teilhard eGroup. Together we're playing lots of bridge and participating in club and church activities. We had a fun visit to Orlando, Florida for the wedding of Bob (our former interim minister) and MaryLou Palmer's daughter, and continue to travel to Maryland to visit with our daughters' families and also Jan's relatives. Family reunion vacations on Hatteras Island every June are particularly cherished. Counting every blessing, including the good health of all the family, we share our Christmas joy and happy memories from 1999.

The Drs. Paulsen, Tai's parents,
live in Atlanta, where Doug is Professor of Anatomy and Director
of Human Morphology and Histology at Morehouse. Ann, with her own psychiatric
center, was listed in the top 8 psychiatrists (and only female!) in the
Atlanta magazine.
